The Lancaster Avenue Business Association, Inc. is a Pennsylvania non-profit organization established in 1986, LABA was designed to organize businesses to collectively participate in and support the planning, designing and implementation of economic development initiatives, to improve the physical and socialogical quality of life for the residents and businesses of West Philadelphia.

Join the Working Force! LABA participation is open to all businesses and service providers the length of Lancaster Avenue Commercial Corridor, from 34th (East) to 63rd (West) and adjacent areas.

Lancaster Avenue Business Association-CDC provide social services, technical assistance and networking activities designed to assist, support and grow our diverse business community. Throughout the years LABA-CDC has maintained its service outreach advocating to local businesses and community the importance of collaborative participation, in support of LABA-CDC Programs also designed to provide sustainable means for environmental and economical improvements within the Lancaster Avenue Business District and throughout the community at large.

The established association addresses the needs of the merchants and the community, by operating as one entity, while networking for increased business activity and implementing a strategic plan of action, to advocate the revitalization of the business corridor through community, social and economic development, thus making the business area a more attractive and inviting place to work and shop.
